Movie producer talks shop to Boynton High students

Palm Beach High School graduate Arthur L. Bernstein visited Boynton Beach High School’s Theatre Academy while “Walt Before Mickey” was in theatres, speaking to early-morning classes about the film and the road that led to it.

“My passion is to make movies,” he told the students, describing his aim to show the human side of Walt Disney — a story of a bankrupt, unproven artist who never gave up.

Bernstein recounted his path from the University of Miami to Los Angeles — where he worked at Sony Studios — and back home to Florida, encouraging students to follow their own routes into the industry: “If he and I could do it, so can you.”
